Finding Organic Food Companies
By Ferdinand Rinaldy
You need to remember, these
organic food companies are in the business to make money, not make you healthy. Not only was this product extremely unhealthy, it was blatantly lying. Too many people fall for the fat-free, or no carb facade. This better than butter product I saw was basically margarine, loaded with trans fatty acids, which is actually a deadly chemical. Scientific research has linked trans fatty acids to heart disease, diabetes, obesity, cancers, and so many more degenerative diseases.
This product was claiming it was better than butter.
Even extremely low-quality butter is
much healthier for you than any type of margarine. Grass fed butter is higher in conjugated linoleum acid (CLA). I actually recommend adding a
little organic or grass fed butter to steamed veggies. The fats found inside the butter actually help your body soak up the minerals and vitamins found inside the vegetables. Remember to look at the food labels before you buy.
When it comes to
organic foods, it is important to know that not just anyone can make organic foods. Foods and
organic food companies that are certified by the Quality Assurance International group (QAI) must undergo rigorous tests and meet very high standards. This means that you and other eaters are more likely to
eat more organic foods, as well as stick with organic foods or start a fully organic diet. Clean soil, which is required when growing organic foods, is likely to produce better results, which should mean better tasting food.
Even with the
high costs of organic food, it is still possible to save money. You can do this by using organic food coupons, searching for organic food sales, and stocking up when you do find those sales. Organic food coupons can be found online or in weekend newspaper inserts.
Organic food, including fresh food, is sold online and locally. Your local options tend to include the
organic food section at your supermarket or a
specialty organic food companies.
